I strongly consider purchasing VariCAD 2008 but I'm not sure about licensing.
Would one license allow me to install the program also on my home computer? Surely I will be the only one who will use these two computers. I will need itto complete some work at home from time to time.

Yes. One license allow installation on both your office and home computers. The only restriction is that the program cannot be run on these computers at the same time.
