180° bending |

To bend a plane is impossible in Cartesian system. The plane is plane. ;) With a small "cheat" this is not so complicated. Maybe this is not cheat, because in the real case there is the same situation. So I've extruded a piece of 10 thick steel sheet with 180° bend. There is a small gap between the bent and unbent branches. It can be even smaller than 0,1. The Varicad made wonderful flat pattern from it. (my bend table - which is not the original Varicad type - is valid for steels) http://kepfeltoltes.hu/150817/Screenshot_from_2015-08-17_21_23_13_www.kepfeltoltes.hu_.png http://kepfeltoltes.hu/150817/Screenshot_from_2015-08-17_21_22_25_www.kepfeltoltes.hu_.png http://kepfeltoltes.hu/150817/Screenshot_from_2015-08-17_21_22_16_www.kepfeltoltes.hu_.png |

I am trying to model a LCD screen with a ribbon cable and need to bend in back on itself. How can I take a sheet of material and bend it 180 degrees with a certain radius |
