If i try to open stp files I get the following error message: Number of correct solids: 0 Number of unsupported objects: 0 Number of failed conversions: 0 No objects to insert into space The strange thing is some stp files work an some wont. Has anybody a solution to this problem? |

This is something that I also come across often. It looks like to me that Varicad can only handle the primitives that it can create: hence advanced, complex surfaces that cannot be made with Varicad cannot be opened from stp files. I also think that apart from this, Vericad stp files creation from native DWB is excellent and import is quite good, too. |

VariCAD supports import of (closed) solids, not surfaces. So when importing STEP files into VariCAD, please note that the solids need to be closed. Thank you. |

Obvious question: any plans to add surfaces? |
