It is possible. Please do the following: 1. Click on the icon "Transformations, Copy, Edit, Constraints" (STC command). 2. Select all the tubes, and right click 3. In the 3D Location dialog box click on the icon "Additional Boolean Operation after Location" (it is the last icon in the box) 4. Select an option"Insert and Cut from Selected Solid Repeatedly" 5. Select a solid to be cut (one level of the building) 6. No repeat the steps 3-5, selecting another level of the building. The above descriptin seems complicated, but it is actually a fast process. Give it a try. Best Regards Marek |

boolean operation between several objects at once |

It seems that if you want to cut holes in an 'work object' by several 'tool objects', you have to perform the boolean operation one at a time. Isn't there any way to select all tool object at once and apply them on the work object? How about if there are several work objects as well? example: several tubes pass vertically through several levels of a building . Now you want to punch out the intersections - does this have to be done one by one? |
