automatic versioning, time-stamping
I see that one can create an attribute with a type 'Date', which can then be exportet into a title block. It seems that the date has to be filled manually. Am I wrong?
Is it possible to include an automatic date field, which is updated every time the model is modified? This way, the printed 2D drafts could have a time-stamp, so that people checking and verifying a design could see if they are looking at the same (or the latest) version.

Another related question: I would like to create an attribute called 'Assembly ID'. I want this attribute to be required whenever my file is an assembly, but to not be required whenever my file is a single piece. In this case (and if this piece is part of an assembly) I would introduce another attribute called 'Part of this assembly', which would then be the assembly ID, to which this part belongs)

Thanks
dwg. filename not automatically set
Another related question: I am wondering why the attribute dwg.filename is not automatically set. By default it is empty, and I need to go to the attributes list, click on the dwg.filename attribute, and acknowledge the value. In my view, this variable should not wait for or accept any user input, it should be automatically set to the actual name of the file.
Thanks
dwg.filename
dwg.filename keeps its old value even if I rename the file. I have to click on this attribute, and acknowledge the new, current filename. This makes it error-prone (I am sure users will forget to do it pretty often)
attributes not updated...
I would really prefer if
1) those attributes, which are not arbitrary (for example filename, 2D drawing scale, etc) would be *automatically* updated, and no user input would be needed (or not even possible). For exampe by changing the drawing scale, the corresponding attribute should automatically be updated
2) title block would be automatically updated, if any of the attributes which are displayed within them change their values.

1) and 2) together would mean, that if I change the 2D drawing scale, then the title block would automatically indicate the right scale, and I would not run into the very painful situation that I send a drawing to somebody, where a bad scale is indicated
